End of the Season-Reflections

Image
Well, this past Saturday my Roller Derby travel season came to an end in a most epic fashion . Thank you Hudson Valley Horrors for being such wonderful hosts. Copyright 2013, Gregory Paret It marked the end of an era as well. My dear friend and long time teammate Atari Joykick is officially retired. I am filled to the brim with pride at the leaps and bounds she made as an athlete through her years. It makes me sad to think she will not be there to help forge more memories. It makes me sad that I cannot say "Heya E-man!" to her son at every practice and every scrimmage. I am so sorry. I am just terrible at updating. Why? I don't know. Because my brain says "Let's update your blo OH LOOK SOMETHING ELSE !" Sorry about that. So, let's recap! The last time I blogged we talked about my head shaving. It was a lot of fun! My hair apparently grows back super fast, though! And I didn't even have to study! This is a real thing?! Lately the hubby and I have been in a bidding war for our dream home. Keep your digits crossed for us. I want this place more than I have wanted anything. I seriously had a dream about mowing the lawn. How messed up is that!?! Yes, I think I looked like this in my dream... by Karen Joy Picketts   So, I figure if I dream about yard work, it is meant to be. Also, I am thinking about the off season for derby. I plan a different post for that, though. No glass adventures to report. More later... when I post about Roller Derby... for now... This! My Love! #throughglass
