Pacific Rim - Not Through Glass...

So, here is the "ravings and reviews" part of this blog.

Sunday night my husband and I saw Pacific Rim with my step daughter and her other half Nos.

Dear Dog! What a terrible story!
Empty characters. Poorly written and delivered lines. A-typical and predictable plot.

Special Effects were great, I'll give it that. But, I found myself terribly bored.
Mr Pirate and I agreed, if it had been split into two or was a series or mini-series, they could have done better and given actual depth. As a movie goer I like to feel attached to a character (really, when Wash in Serenity bit it... I screamed in the theater! I was not alone). There was a cold, detachment, and a "Good, I'm glad he died" feeling with Pacific Rim.

I think what would have done it for me was if Charlie Hunnam had taken his shirt of one or eight more times.

I fear that when SoA ends, Mr Hunnam may be out of work because of this movie.
*ugh*

So, there is a movie review, and a shirtless Charlie Hunnam.

Also, my new Google Glass unit is here, hooked into my phone, and ready to go. The adventures will continue!!
